Description: The McLean Project for the Arts is an outstanding community and regional resource for artists and art viewers alike. It hosts three separate, and equally excellent galleries within its facility at the Mclean Community Center. It promotes the understanding of contemporary art through its program of high quality, professionally curated exhibitions and ArtReach school programs and art classes for all ages. Most classes are taught by instructors from the Corcoran College of Art and Design. It also hosts a variety of art talks, museum visits, MPAartfest and other events throughout the year. Exhibited art is available for purchase in any of the three McLean Project for the Arts galleries.
